Northern Soccer Club’s Select Program is a full-year commitment designed for boys and girls ages U8–U18 who are prepared to compete at a higher level.
We prioritize development and competition in a safe, fun and challenging environment centered around the players. We aim to develop free-thinkers and confident and competent players through experiential learning. Coaches follow a structured curriculum designed to teach players within the appropriate ages and stages of development. We strive for each Northern SC member to feel they are both a better player and person for having played for Northern SC.
Players train under experienced coaches and compete in the Duke City Soccer League, the USYS Desert Conference National League, in regionally competitive travel tournaments, and local indoor/outdoor leagues. Training takes place at Municipal Recreation Complex soccer fields and various fields throughout the city of Santa Fe; games are primarily held in Bernalillo Soccer Complex.
Select teams practice 2-3 times a week and play at least 8 DCSL games and 2 in-state tournaments per season.
Tryouts for U15 and up will take place in November.

SELECT EXPENSES
Joining Select includes the following separate expenses:
$1,040 Club Fee* - This covers the full seasonal year - fall 2026 and spring 2027. You have the option to pay in full upfront or set up a 10-month payment plan via Sports Connect.
$23 NMYSA Fee* - This must be paid upfront via Sports Connect. The NMYSA fee is required per child annually. This fee insures all Northern events.
$130 Complete Uniform Kit - The kit includes one home jersey, one away jersey, one pair of socks, and one pair of shorts. This fee does not include any additional charges for Shipping & Handling. For players new to Select,or those needing to purchase new items.
Any additional team fees such as tournaments, hotels, etc.
*Payment at the time of accepting the team invite will only include the club fee and NMYSA membership fee.
