Our Development League is the foundation for all activities conducted by the Northern Soccer Club. This program emphasizes fun and learning in an environment where athletes can practice the teamwork and skills necessary for playing soccer.
Our goals are to improve and maintain physical fitness, to promote emotional health and growth, and to foster the spirit of doing one's best for oneself and the team.

Soccer balls and all equipment for practices and games
Volunteer Coaches
Coach Education and practice curriculum
One practice per week
One game per week on Saturdays

All games are played Saturday mornings at MRC Soccer Valley.
Game times are TBD. Once the schedule has been created, it will be available in Sports Stack account which is the same platform used for registration.

Northern Niños

Our Northern Niños program is the perfect introduction to soccer for 3-year-olds, designed to spark a love for the game in a fun, engaging, and supportive environment. Through playful activities and age-appropriate games, children will develop fundamental soccer skills, improve coordination, and build confidence—all while having a great time!
Led by trained and professional coaches, our program focuses on creating a positive and encouraging atmosphere where every child feels excited to participate. We emphasize teamwork, enjoyment, and skill-building, laying the foundation for a lifelong appreciation of soccer.

Northern Academy
AGES 6-9 (U7-U9)

**THIS IS A PRACTICE ONLY PROGRAM**
Players are exposed to an extra session a week that focuses on individual development. Trained, professional coaches will run all sessions. This program is separate from the Development League, and it is for those who want to prepare for our more competitive program, Select.
This program will include continued evaluation of players as part of Northern's academy to select program pipeline.
